Nature Club of Digboi College organised a cleanliness programme in Digboi College premisesl

Nature Club of Digboi College has organised a cleanliness and plantation drive on 26th March, 2009 at Digboi College premises. All the teachers and employees participated in cleaning drive of the college campus on the occasion. A number of medicinal plant were also planted in the Botanical garden of the college on the same day. Nature Club of Digboi College is also constructing a Vermi Compost Plant in the college campus.

Women Welfare Cell of Digboi College made a survey in Naharkatiya Village

Women  Welfare Cell of Digboi College has made a detailed survey of a very backward village named Naharkatiya Village near Balijan about 6 KM away from Digboi Town on 13th and 14th March, 2009. The delegates engaged in survey work report that the villagers of that village live in miserable condition. The modern day facilities have not yet touched the village.

Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony of New Women's Hostel

Local MLA & President, GB,Digboi College, Mr. R. Dhanowar laid the foundation stone of proposed New Building of the Girls' Hostel on 27th Feb,2009 in a brief function presided by Mr. M. Bharali Boruah, Principal, Digboi College. Many teachers, employees, members of GB and students were present to grace the occasion. Construction of the Hostel is funded by UGC under special scheme for Women's Hostel.
